How to check the status of the Everyone.net POP server
To aid in troubleshooting connectivity errors when trying to access the Everyone.net POP servers, you can go to http://www.dnsstuff.com and check the TRACERT update at any time.
Go to the top-right section under Tracert.
Type "pop.everyone.net". Then hit Tracert.
You will know that the Everyone.net servers are running when the last line of the trace route reads:
We suggest that you run this test a few times in succession to verify that this server is available.
Note: This test will run a trace route from an arbitrary server on the internet to the Everyone.net servers. If the trace route is successful but you continue to get errors in connecting to the Everyone.net servers, you should check with your network admin or your ISP.
