Web Mail And Large Text Attachments
Most web browsers are set to open plain text files within the browser by default. Thus, text file attachments are typically loaded by Web Mail in the browser.
Under certain circumstances, text file attachments that are large in size may not load within the web browser's default allotted time before the connection is closed. Large text file attachments can be opened by first downloading the attachment to the local computer.
The webmail service has options to download the message attachments, both in the Classic and Rich web interface. We suggest using the save functionality to locally download the file. Any program that can read a plain text file should be able to open the downloaded text file, including Microsoft NotePad, Apple TextEdit, or Notepad++.
