Deleting Messages in Web Mail

QUESTION
--------

We are having problems deleting our email messages.

Messages were deleted and moved to the Trash folder of the web mailbox, but continue to "appear" even after several tries and
as of this moment many staff members' Mail Boxes are filling-up very quickly
and might not be able to accept any more mail.


ANSWER
------

Verify that users are not only moving the messages to the trash folder, but that once the message is moved to the trash folder, the user:

1 - Opens the Trash Folder and clicks on the Empty Trash link OR
2 - Clicks on the LogOut button to empty the trash. (This is the default setting for Folder Janitor.)

If they move messages to the trash but do not also do either of these steps, the messages in the trash will remain. Please review more on the Folder Janitor as more options can be set or disabled for the Trash folder.
