Everyone.net Names Cliff Kaplan as Vice President of Sales
 
Veteran in OEM, direct sales to accelerate growth for hosted email leader

SAN JOSE, CA — December 13, 2005 -- Everyone.net (www.everyone.net), a leading provider of hosted email for more than 1 million paid mailboxes, today named Cliff Kaplan as vice president of sales, responsible for accelerating the company's growth through direct sales and partnerships.

"Cliff's strong, relevant experience in various senior OEM, business development and direct sales positions will enable us to broaden our channel presence, boost strategic partnerships, and expand into new markets more quickly and effectively," according to Michael Rose, president and CEO of Everyone.net.

Kaplan's career spans over 20 years of sales, marketing, channel development and strategic planning for high technology and financial services companies. Prior to joining Everyone.net, he was a strategy consultant to clients including Hewlett Packard and Adobe, where he helped companies enter fertile new markets, sign lucrative partnerships, and extend distribution channels. Before establishing his consultancy, Kaplan was senior vice president of OEM/custom solutions and business development at Quark Inc., where he was responsible for implementing business strategies including the establishment of strategic digital/on-demand printing joint ventures with Hewlett Packard that resulted in more than a $5 million increase in revenues. Previously, Kaplan held management positions at DiamondSoft, the producer of award-winning font management products, where he increased sales and revenues by more than 300 percent. At Common Places and Infoseek he played a major role in building strategic partnerships in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Before entering the high technology industry, Kaplan held senior positions in the finance industry as a vice president at Morgan Stanley International and a vice president at Bankers Trust.
